Infrastructure in Quake Zone Swiftly Repaired
 

There's been rapid repair of key infrastructure recently left in tatters following the Wenchuan Quake. Close to 50 damaged power stations have been fully restored. And plans suggest that 11 more such stations will be rebuilt in other areas. 5 others will be constructed on their original sites and completed before the end of August.

There's been rapid repair of key infrastructure recently left in tatters following the Wenchuan Quake.

While anxieties continue over possible threat from damaged reservoirs. So far, more than 1800 reservoirs have been inspected, and repairs have been both urgent and thorough. And at least temporarily, there is safe drinking water in almost all zones hit by the quake just over two weeks ago.
