Many of those injured in the quake have been transferred to nearby provinces and municipalities as well as to hospitals all over the country for further treatment.

This injured man was taken out of a train which arrived in Chongqing municipality on Tuesday afternoon.

The first special plane carrying the injured from Sichuan arrived at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Tuesday afternoon. They were then taken to a Guangdong hospital.
