At the Beijing Summit of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, held on November 4-5, heads of state, government and delegations from China and 48 African countries adopted a declaration and action plan proclaiming the establishment of "a new type of strategic partnership" between China and Africa, which features political equality and mutual trust, economic win-win cooperation and cultural exchanges.
