Foreign Friends Offer Aid to Quake-hit Region
People are rushing in from all directions to offer aid to the quake-hit region

People are rushing in from all directions to offer aid to the quake-hit region. The Red Cross' Beijing blood bank welcomed some special donors on Wednesday morning -- three Estonian diplomats in Beijing. The Estonian ambassador Merike Grunthal chose to give 400 milliliters of blood, doubling his usual donation.

He said, "We wanted to do something after the quake. We wanted to help. We saw that they needed blood. We have blood; this is how we can help."
