Chinese Fans Express Sorrow for Robin Williams' Death

It's a heartbreaking day for Chinese fans of actor and comedian Robin Williams, after the Oscar winner was pronounced dead at his San Francisco Bay Area home. Police say they suspect the actor died in an apparent suicide .

Many of his Chinese fans shared their sorrow on Sina Weibo.

User Gary says "Words alone can't describe what an impact Robin Williams had on comedy and hope people focus on the moments of joy he gave to people."

Muggle-H says "You are always my captain from my heart."

Many expressed gratitude for what he had done for the movie industry and wished to him rest in peace.

Robin Williams was famous for such films as Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poet's Society and Good Will Hunting, which he won an Oscar for best supporting actor.
