China to Send Special Envoy for Tanzania's Anniversary

China will send a special envoy to Tanzania for the 50th anniversary of the country's establishment, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman announced on Wednesday.

Chen Changzhi, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China, will be President Xi Jinping's special envoy to attend Tanzania's celebrations that are scheduled for Saturday, spokesman Qin Gang told a news briefing.
