U.S. First Lady to Visit China

U.S. first lady Michelle Obama will visit China from March 20 to 26, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang said on Friday.

Mrs. Obama will meet with Peng Liyuan, wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Apart from Beijing, she will also travel to Xi'an in northwest China's Shaanxi Province and Chengdu in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

Mrs. Obama is visiting China as guest of Peng, Qin said.
