The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), the head of China's top economic planner, says the country's economic growth, consumer price level and employment are all under control.
"In general, the economy kept a steady growth rate, but it's intricate at the same time. GDP expanded by 7.6 percent, while the Consumer Price Index increased by 2.4 percent in the first half of the year. China created more than 7 million jobs, completing more than 80 percent of the annual target," Chairman of NDRC Xu Shaoshi said.
