A Chinese Navy fleet has set off from Qingdao for joint military exercises with Russia. The "Joint Sea 2013" drill will be held in the Bay of Peter the Great in the Sea of Japan from July 5 to 12.
The joint anti-terrorism drill "Peace Mission 2013" will be held from July 27 to August 15. The Chinese fleet consists of four destroyers, two frigates and one replenishment oiler. This is the biggest fleet the Chinese Navy has sent for a joint military exercise outside its own territory.
