Marking the beginning of his five-day visit to China, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has held various talks in Shanghai on boosting economic relations.
On Tuesday, he discussed economic ties with Shanghai Mayor Yang Xiong. The day before, he gave a speech to business leaders from both Israel and China.
He said that Israeli technology and Chinese manufacturing and global marketing capabilities can form a winning combination, adding that China could be an engine for Israeli economic growth.
Netanyahu also visited the Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum. Shanghai accommodated about 30,000 Jewish refugees during the World War II.
