Over to the realm of acrobatic performance, where the Golden Clown Award is the highest prize in the world. For the first time ever, Chinese acrobats are sharing their unique perspective on the contest -- in the form of a love story.

Dazzling movements, intoxicating music, and the classic story of a young man following his dream. The acrobatic play The Dream of Golden Clown is performed by China's most award winning team, the China National Acrobatic Troupe.

The choreography incorporates many acrobatic shows that have actually won the Golden Clown Award, including two of this year's winners.

But the play is not all about acrobatics.

In this scene, martial arts movements are delicately combined with the performers' emotions, presenting an enchanting love story.

Li Hengda, a choreographer from China National Acrobatic Troupe, said, "In art we value emotions. Story comes first in the play. As the plot develops, the acrobatic skills are naturally presented to the audience."

After performing in China, the play will launch a global tour, starting in the United States.
