The press center for China's upcoming annual legislative and political consultative sessions opened on Februray 26 at the Media Center Hotel in downtown Beijing.

The annual session of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the top political advisory body, will begin on March 3. Its parliamentary counterpart, the National People's Congress, will convene on March 5.

The press center comprises designated facilities for conducting interviews, wiring reports to news agencies, and showcasing state media publications for journalists' use as reference materials.
