Share

Luo Huining was re-elected governor of northwest China's Qinghai Province Tuesday at the first session of the 12th Qinghai Provincial People's Congress, the local legislative body.

Luo, born in October 1954, is a native of Yiwu, Zhejiang Province. He holds a doctoral degree in economics obtained from the Renmin University of China.

He had worked for more than 30 years in east China's Anhui Province as factory worker and government and CPC official before being appointed deputy Communist Party chief of Qinghai in 2003.

He was first elected governor of Qinghai in January 2010.

At the same session, Qiang Wei, secretary of Qinghai Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, was re-elected chairman of the Standing Committee of Qinghai Provincial People's Congress.
