Beijing Hosts Media Equipment Expo

The latest technology in the media industry is on display in Beijing. The Chinese capital is hosting its 21st International Exhibition for Radio, TV, and Film Equipment.

It is a 3-D TV. On display with other new media formats such as High Definition and digital cinema. This is the future of radio, film, and television. Some 500 companies from China and abroad are checking out each other as they showcase their best.

Phil Taylor, application engineer of Ametek Singapore PTE, LTD, said, "We certainly continually bring more new products. We are able to deliver that to the public, whatever need they have."

For workers in China's radio and television industry, it's a chance to see the latest, all in one place.

Wang Yan, cameraman, said, "If I didn't come here, I wouldn't know about so many new products, and I'd be behind. This exhibition brings the manufactures together, so I don't have to go to each retailer."

Demonstrations and workshops are being held to give visitors some hands-on experience.

This exhibition has been central to the development of the domestic media industry. It is a great source of information on the latest products and technologies. It also works to stimulate more communication and cooperation in the development of broadcasting technology.
