Power generation has been restored at a nuclear plant in east China's Zhejiang Province after the worst of Tropical Storm Haikui had passed.
Early on Wednesday morning, Qinshan Nuclear Plant in Haiyan County cut its power generation to reduce risks caused by the storm. But normal output resumed in the afternoon as the wind and rain eased.
Meanwhile, construction of the Sanmen Nuclear Plant in southern Zhejiang Province was resumed on Wednesday. Work had been suspended because of Haikui since Monday.
