Share

For more on the press conference ahead of the 85th anniversary of the founding of the People's Liberation Army, we're joined in the studio by Zhang Junshe, Vice President of the China Naval Research Institute.

Q1: The Ministry of National Defence addressed the current state of China's military budget during the press conference. Is it enough for it to fulfil its key functions?

Q2: The National Defence Ministry's spokesman also stressed the importance of the recent establishment of Sansha City in the South China Sea. How does it strengthen China's sovereignty over its territory in the region?
