Hurun Report Entrepreneurs Summit Held in Beijing

The Hurun Report Entrepreneurs Summit was held at the Ritz-Carlton Beijing on October 28 marking the 13th anniversary of the Hurun Rich List. The summit over the years has enjoyed support from entrepreneurs on the list and it attracts a large number of social elites from business, academic and media circles to become one of the most influential entrepreneur summits in China.

Under the banner of "The Development Road of China's Enterprises in the Next Decade," Zhang Changhong, Chairman of the Board of Shanghai Great Wisdom, Xiang Wenbo, President of Sany Heavy Industry, and Hua Wei, Director of the Real Estate Department of the Business School at East China Normal University, delivered keynote speeches.

Zhang Changhong said that because of recent economic and social transformations, Chinese enterprises will face unprecedented challenges in the coming decade. Developing situations make it necessary for entrepreneurs to completely change their management structures and establish new strategies.

As a leader in China's machinery industry, Xiang Wenbo believes that urbanization in China and economic globalization provide opportunities for rapid development in the construction machinery industry. He said Sany will seize this chance to create more wealth.

Real estate has also fallen under the spotlight in China in recent years. Hua Wei said the real estate market plays a vital role in maintaining economic development and social stability. Despite recent fluctuations, the real estate market will return to a healthy growth pattern over the long term.

During seminars at the summit, the guests heatedly debated topics, including sustainable development of China's private enterprises, corporate social responsibility and future investment hotspots.
