Child trafficking is a horror most families live without. But for vulnerable ones, it can be an all to real nightmare.
Technology can help increase awareness and re-unite parents with sons and daughters who feared they would never be seen again. Chinese micro-blogger service Sina.com is used by 125 million people, but one man is changing lives.
Professor Yu Jianrong is encouraging micro-bloggers to take pictures of child beggars on the streets. His web page helps parents find their abducted children.
In less than two weeks, Yu's micro-blog has attracted 80,000 followers, including the country's most influential celebrities. Over 1,700 images of children begging have been put on the site and been re-posted.
So far, four trafficked children have been identified and the Ministry of Public Security has begun helping lost children with their families.
