Summer Davos to Discuss Sustainable Growth

The Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2010, or Summer Davos, will prepare business and government leaders for new growth.

This time, the Summer Davos theme will be "Driving Growth Through Sustainability." The four pillars are improving competitiveness through science and technology, creating new value from business models for future markets, facilitating economic and social change, and designing effective global, industry and regional solutions. According to a senior director of the World Economic Forum, it's important for the world to focus on sustainable growth.

"We felt it quite important....the world focus on what's future growth, contributed sustainable that we actually relaunched growth when we revisited we do some sustainable way that it addresses all the dimensions sustainably, the economic dimensions, the human resource dimension, the environmental dimension," said Jeremy Jurgens, Senior Director of World Economic Forum.

"I think that Tianjin holding the Summer Davos matches Tianjin's current development," Ren Xuefeng, Vice Mayor of Tianjin said. "It will also give participants from home and abroad more opportunities to communicate and learn."
