Chinese Publications Welcomed at Book Expo America

Chinese publications are welcomed on the Book Expo America 2009, the largest book fair in America started on Thursday and embrace the public of America from Friday to Sunday.

More than 1900 publishers from the world have attended this trade show. 28 publishing enterprises from China's 8 provinces and cities also presented more than 600 publications which were welcomed by the public of America.

These publications covered many aspects including social science, literature and art, education, health protection and cultures, etc.

This book's name is To Save Lives. It shows us some impressive pictures during the period after the earthquake last year, including some pictures about our Premier Wen caring the refugee people. All of those pictures are taken by our reporters from Xinhua News Agency.

To publicize our national medical science to the whole world, People's Medical Publishing House has transformed the most distinguished Chinese medical books into English version.

The Book Expo America is one of the largest book fair in the world, providing opportunities of getting into the international book selling to the worldwide publishing industries. This annual expo is held at one of America's major cities, promoting the range of book industry business.
