A World Carnival at the Olympic Park

Everyday at the Olympic Park, Beijing sees the city's most exciting carnival. Visitors from around the world are amazed by some of the architectures and the hospitality of the Chinese people. Besides the many competitions taking place in differen venues, the park itself has become a big attraction.

A joyful show with a clear Olympic atmosphere. Performers and onlookers all sing along with the theme song of the opening ceremony. Parades like this are a daily entertainment event that intrigues the crowd.

Wang Xuri, a Chinese emigrant says "We came back from the US the day before. We had no plan of returning until we watched the opening ceremony. It was spectacular, a stunning surprise indeed. We were so excited and couldn't wait. Now I'm back and everything makes me happy. We either spend our time in the venue or walking around in the park. It's fun and beautiful."

Jose Jones, an American visitor, says "The Games have been going well. Everything seems to be organized compared to other Olympics. This is my seventh one, so it's really good. It's really been good. I mean people have been really friendly and it's been very easy to get around, not being able to speak Chinese."
