Damaged Stores Reopen in Lhasa

The Landun Plaza, one of the plazas seriously damaged during the March 14 riots in Lhasa, resumes business on April 9, 2008. The government of Tibet Autonomous Region has promised compensation measures including interest-free and government subsidized loans for businesses and merchants who suffered losses during the riot.
