U.S.to Simplify Repatriation Process for Chinese Nationals
Share

The United States and China have agreed to a more streamlined process to repatriate Chinese nationals with final orders of removal, the U.S. Homeland Security Department said in statement on Saturday.

According to the statement, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the China Ministry of Public Security will work closely to verify the identities of such Chinese nationals and will ensure that regular charter flights are scheduled to facilitate repatriation.

The statement marks a new progress of Sino-U.S. cooperation on China's hunt for corrupt officials who fled to the United States.
