China is ready to further its cooperation with the Republic of Korea (ROK) on science and technology, said Chinese State Councilor Chen Zhili here Tuesday.

China and the ROK enjoy bright prospect in terms of science and technology cooperation, Chen told Kim Woo Shik, ROK Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Technology.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of China-ROK diplomatic ties, and the 15th anniversary of a pact on science and technology.
