China has moved the last batch of 24 Chinese nationals from Yemen's western port of al-Hodayda to Djibouti on Monday, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

The vessel left Yemen's western port of al-Hodayda at 06:10 pm Beijing Time. The 24 Chinese nationals were transported from Yemeni capital Sanaa to al-Hodayda port after over five hours' drive.

Nine Chinese citizens and one Japanese citizens are expected to be evacuated from Yemen' s Socotra island later Monday aboard another Chinese naval vessel Weishanhu.

Eight Chinese national have left Yemen on board a Pakistani vessel earlier.
