China's State Oceanic Administration (SOA) has demanded ConocoPhillips Co. suspend oil-drilling operations at two of its platforms in northeast China's Bohai Bay following two oil spills.
The SOA said on July 13 what ConocoPhillips had done to cope with the spills in June and July were mostly temporary and compensatory measures, and the risk of more spills still exists. |
