A 15-meter-high, 50-meter wide flowerbed is planted on June 28 in Tiananmen Square in Beijing as part of the celebrations for the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
Another 1,750 square meters of flowerbeds have been laid around the grassy areas in the east and west of the square. Large-scale flowerbeds have also been arranged at important locations along Chang'an Avenue, a major avenue of the capital, and an additional 20 million pots of flowers are being displayed in every corner of the city to mark the milestone event. |
