Share

Construction of the world's longest arch bridge, the Chaotianmen Yangtze River Bridge, spanning 522 meters, is expected to be completed and open for traffic this May.

Located above the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in southwest Chongqing Municipality, the bridge is designed to hold two decks. The upper deck carries six lanes with a pedestrian lane on each side, and the lower deck carries dual light rails in both directions.
