From October 26 to November 11, the Sixth National Farmers' Games of China were held in southern Quanzhou City, Fujian Province.
Launched in 1988, China's quadrennial farmers' games are the only athletic meeting of its kind in the world. These latest games had 180 events in 15 sports, including tire pushing, sowing, grain haulage, dragon boating, kite flying, shuttlecock kicking and tug-of-war. The more than 3,000 participants came from all over China. |
