Zhao Sili, a student quake victim from Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province, makes last-minute preparations from her hospital bed for the national college examination on July 1.

The exam, which has been held in early June in most parts of the country, was postponed to July 3-5 for a total of 120,000 students in severely affected areas after an 8.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Sichuan on May 12.

About 78 percent of the students took the most important exam of their lives in temporary classrooms.
