While discussing with NPC deputies from Taiwan, top political advisor Jia Qinglin praised their efforts in promoting cross-strait ties over the past year. He hopes people from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan could strengthen cooperation and exchanges from all sectors in the future, in order to achieve a peaceful reunification.
