China's 30 plus provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions take turns showcasing their culture and customs at the ongoing World Expo in Shanghai. Beijing took the lead by hosting Beijing Week in May. Since then, many local arts have been featured, such as the New Year paintings of Tianjin's Yangliuqing Town, the pastoral songs of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the song-and-dance duet popular in northeast China and the acrobatics of Hebei's Wuqiao County.
