Chinese 3D cartoon film Boonie Bears has proved to be a big hit celebrating box office success of 138 million yuan ($22.6 million) since its release on January 17.
The story centres around the theme of protecting treasure and shows a group of foes who become friends as they embark on a quest.
Liu Fuyuan, director of the film, told CRI that their success of box office was attributed to devotion and love.
"Simply speaking, the reasons we are successful are that we do not look down from a height at our audiences," Liu said. "On the contrary, we bend ourselves, face our audiences and serve them in aspects of content and distributions."
"We do our job seriously. We made the film with love. And we do it persistently," Liu added.
Liu and his team planned to issue another Boonie Bears cartoon film before the Spring Festival next year.
