Share

The producers of the upcoming superhero movie Iron Man 3 have released a new trailer with scenes highlighting Chinese cast members Wang Xueqi and Fan Bingbing.

In the film, Wang Xueqi plays Dr. Wu who strengthens Iron Man's abilities to fight the villainous Mandarin, according to previous reports.

The role of actress Fan Bingbing has yet to be officially announced. She previously was spotted wearing scrubs on the film's Beijing set. Reports suggest that she plays Dr. Wu's assistant and translator.

Yongdingmen, one of Beijing's historical landmarks, also appears in the trailer.

Iron Man 3 revolves around the superhero portrayed by Robert Downey Jr., tackling a powerful enemy, the Mandarin.

The film is slated for release in North America and China on May 3.
