Ip Man: Final Battle Kicks off Shooting
Share

Director Herman Yau's new film Ip Man: Final Battle has kicked off shooting in Foshan, south China's Guangdong Province, Mtime.com reports.

A ceremony was held with Yau and cast members Anthony Wong, Anita Yuen, Gillian Chung and Timmy Hung in attendance.

Set in Hong Kong, the movie features Anthony Wong as the middle-aged Ip Man.

Shooting is expected to be finished in two months.

Ip Man was a Wing Chun (one of the Chinese martial arts) master. Several films depicting his life are very familiar to audiences, including Ip Man which starred Donnie Yen in 2008, and its sequel Ip Man 2 released in 2010.

Director Wong Kar-wai's The Grandmasters, a film starring Tony Leung as Ip Man, is in the works.
