This Is It Hits Chinese Cinemas
The Michael Jackson tribute film This Is It opens in cinemas worldwide

The Michael Jackson tribute film This Is It opens on October 28 in cinemas worldwide.

Most Chinese cinemas will offer midnight screenings for hardcore Jackson fans who would like to see the film as a final goodbye to the "King of Pop."

The 110-minute film includes unseen footage from Jackson's rehearsal for the This Is It concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

In China, presold tickets for the first public screening at Shenzhen's Golden Harvest cinemas reached 80 percent, higher than the 60-percent booking rate for the movie Transformers 2, according to the Shenzhen Evening News on Monday.

This Is It has a limited, two-week run at movie theaters throughout the United States beginning on October 28, while there is no such limit in China.
