Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry is the latest big name who will be gracing this year's Shanghai International Film Festival, which the organizer says will feature its biggest ever star line-up.

Berry, the Bond girl in Die Another Day, and the first African-American winner of Best Actress Oscar, for Monster's Ball, will appear on the opening red carpet of the Shanghai festival on June 13, Xinhua News Agency cites the organizer as saying.

Previously announced international attendees include British actor Hugh Grant and French actress Isabelle Huppert.

More heavyweights will be announced, the organizer says.

The 12th annual Shanghai International Film Festival is one of Asia's biggest film occasions and runs from June 13 to 21.

Danny Boyle, this year's winner for Best Directing Oscar, will lead the jury.
