Doraemon, the famous Japanese cartoon series, will bring another of its movie editions to China in 2008, after its first hit Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur, bagged 23 million yuan ($316,000) at the Chinese box office last summer.

The second movie, Doraemon: The Magic 2007, formally known as Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld, will be screened for Chinese audiences on January 22, 2008, the Beijing Morning Post reported.

The classic cartoon, a similar equivalent of Mickey Mouse in the United States, will be featured in one movie annually, which will be screened in Japan every March before it tours the world.
