Warm your body up in this bitter winter!
Share

In winter, the body's immunity weakens and its necessary to take more exercise to keep fit. But it's too cold to go outside, so where to work out becomes an issue. Luckily there are many indoor gymnasiums for people to work out in a comfortable environment. But with so many choices, the problem becomes which one to choose!

How to choose a gym

The first step is to choose the right gym for you. So before you start looking, you should think of a few things first.

1. What do you want out of your gym? Although you and your friends may have the same aim in joining a gym, your specific requirements may be different. Don't just follow your friend's advice. What may be right for them may not be right for you.

2. Pay attention to the gym's location: For most people, especially office workers, it's not a good idea to join a gym far from home or office.

3. The most expensive is not always the best. Don't choose according to expense.

4. Make comparisons. Find several gyms that fits your needs, then compare them through information provided by members and the media.

Some tips for the beginner

1. Bargain for discounts: Before enrollment, you should negotiate the price with the receptionist. Actually, there are many special offers in gyms like discounts for couples and off-peak times.

2. Ask for a trial run. Before joining the gym, you can request a free trial run. If the gym you chose dose not have such a service, you can buy a one-off ticket. Make you decision after the trial run.

3. Pay attention to the inside and outside of the facilities. Before joining the gym, you should thoroughly inspect things such as the quality and the quantity of equipment, the decoration style, the existing members and the qualifications of the trainers. Also you should take outside services into consideration such as parking space.
