Readers' Letters 2005

 June, 22nd, 2005

My wife and I have purchased copies of Beijing Review during our visits to your city over the past three years. The magazine is very well written with excellent English and content. As a retired journalist, I put Beijing Review on a par with magazines such as Newsweek and Time.

I am a researcher with the Human Sciences Research council in South Africa. I find your magazine very stimulating and insightful with regard to China's political, economic, social and cultural affairs.

Hello,

I discovered your magazine in a Beijing hotel last week and found it insightful for a foreigner to keep up with weekly Chinese news. I wasn't able to go through the subscription process on your website but if you have a distribution company in San Francisco there might be a way for me to get it! Or is there any place to buy it in New York? I am also an office manager and my company is moving in Jersey city next month, funny isn't it?

R. Loic
