China on Monday published a compilation of government white papers issued last year in both Chinese and English versions.

The five white papers, published by the Information Office of the State Council, are titled Situation and Policies of China's Rare Earth Industry, Diaoyu Dao, an Inherent Territory of China, Judicial Reform in China, China's Energy Policy 2012 and Medical and Health Services in China.

The white papers "comprehensively and accurately" introduced China's policies, stances, principles and latest progress on rare earth, the Diaoyu Islands, judicial reform, energy and public health, said a statement from the State Council Information Office.

"They have enhanced the international community's understanding toward China and received positive remarks," it added.
