The 11th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), China's top political advisory body, is scheduled to conclude its 5th session Tuesday morning.

Jia Qinglin, Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, will address the closing ceremony to be held in the Great Hall of the People in downtown Beijing.

Members of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee held a meeting Monday afternoon, presided over by Jia, and decided to submit three documents to the closing meeting for examination, which include a draft resolution on the work report of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee.

On Monday morning, chairpersons of the CPPCC National Committee also discussed a report regarding political advisors' panel discussions during the session.

According to the report, CPPCC National Committee members agree to enhance efforts in carrying out their duties of political consultation, democratic supervision and participation in the discussion and management of state affairs.

During the annual session, opened on March 3, political advisors also attended the Fifth Session of the 11th National People's Congress (NPC) as non-voting delegates, where they heard and discussed a government work report delivered by Premier Wen Jiabao.
