Visiting Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping arrived in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon to continue his official visit to the United States.

Xi was welcomed at the Los Angeles International Airport by California Governor Jerry Brown, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and other local officials.

Los Angeles is the third and final leg of Xi's U.S. visit. He will also visit Ireland and Turkey after rounding off his U.S. visit on Friday.
