A total of 73 English books covering various aspects of 2010 Shanghai Expo will be on display at this year's Frankfurt International Book Fair, in Germany.

The Expo Books focus on culture, tourism, service and exhibitions, said Liu Binjie, head of General Administration of Press and Publications.

The five-day Frankfurt International Book Fair will start on October 13, 200 days ahead of the opening of Expo 2010 in Shanghai.

China, as this year's Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt fair, had sent 7,600 books from 196 publishers, Liu said.

"Through this golden opportunity, we wish to show the world a friendly and open China with diverse culture and a robust publication industry," Liu added.
