The book, which came out in early May, will be followed by the release of its English original in two months. Talks are on to publish the book in a dozen more languages.

In the book, 25-year-old Lang Lang chronicles his musical upbringing and shares family stories that shaped his character.

Joined by his parents at the book signing on Sunday, which was also Mother's Day, Lang Lang told reporters the book was the best present for his mother.
