China Publishes Book on President Hu's State Visit to US
The book focuses on the theme of pushing forward constructive and cooperative ties between China and the United States in the 21st century in an all-round way

China on Friday published a book on President Hu Jintao's state visit to the United States in 2006, containing Hu's speeches and other key documents.

The book, distributed by Xinhua Bookstore, focuses on the theme of pushing forward constructive and cooperative ties between China and the United States in the 21st century in an all-round way.

Hu's successful state visit to the United States from April 18 to 21 in 2006 allowed him to exchange views with President George W. Bush and other U.S. leaders on bilateral relations and major international and regional issues. He also delivered a speech at Yale University.

Experts say Hu's visit enhanced bilateral dialogue, deepened trust and helped build cooperation and consensus.

The book is published by World Affairs Press.
