Mu Xia
Share

Born in 1986, Mu Xia, one of the top "post-80s" writers, published her first novel, Lost City (Mi Cheng), when she was only 19 years old. She followed that up in 2008 by publishing The Youth From Niantao Town (Niantaozhen De Wailai Shaonian) in Bulaohu literary magazine. In March 2009, together with best-selling author Rao Xueman and famous publisher Lu Jinbo, Mu published a new work called Adzuki Bean (Hong Dou), which means loving and missing in China. Rao also helped Mu launch the Painful Youth Literature Series, which had received media coverage from the Yangtze Evening News and the popular Web portal Sohu.com.

Mu's other major works include The Memory of Post-80s (Baling Wangshi), and Loneliness and Youth (Ci'an Jimo, Bi'an Nianhua).
