Han Han is not concerned by the slow sales of his new book, His Own Country (Ta De Guo), compared with Guo Jingming's new work Tiny Times 1.0 (Xiao Shi Dai). What he cares about, he said, is who reads his story, rather than how many people read it.

Talking about his new magazine, Han said it is still a secret, and only revealed that the magazine is different from Top Novel, the youth literature magazine edited by Guo. "Our target audience is young people with high education background," he said.

Lu Jinbo, known as the "gold-medal book publisher," explained the original intention of Han's new magazine. "Publishing one or two books is too slow to meet the demand of young readers. Han Han has to adjust his independent individuality to today's trend, youth literature magazines run by a team of writers, in order to keep his reputation in this field."
