Chinese equities slumped 4.66 percent Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 152.01 points, to finish at 3,112.72

Chinese equities slumped 4.66 percent Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 152.01 points, to finish at 3,112.72.

The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 4.15 percent, or 545.44 points, to end at 12,591.66.
