China-Japan High-level Economic Dialogue Opens in Tokyo
The dialogue will touch upon a wide range of topics
Share

The second China-Japan high-level economic dialogue, co-chaired by Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan and Japanese Foreign Minister Hirofumi Nakasone, opened here Sunday.

Attended by senior officials of the two countries' relevant departments, the dialogue will touch upon a wide range of topics including energy conservation, environmental protection, finance, agriculture, trade and investment, intellectual property, information and communication, as well as disaster prevention and relief.

The dialogue mechanism, first held in Beijing in December 2007, was jointly launched by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and then Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during Wen's trip to Japan in April 2007.
